Rising from the midlands market town of Burton on Trent, known for its long history of brewing beer, Frazer Clarke is a veteran of the GB Boxing squad. Strapping on gloves for the first time at the age of 11, Clarke joined GB Boxing development squad in 2010. That same year he won a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Boxing Championships in Delhi and has not looked back since.
Clarke is a high-class performer on the international stage with a proven track record and medals to back this up. In late 2015, he won the super heavyweight division at the Rio 2016 test event and was later picked for the British Lionhearts Squad for the 2016 World Series of boxing, winning all five of his contests and claiming victory over Leinier Pero of the Cuba Domodores.
2017 saw Clarke collect a silver medal in the European Championships, despite having a severe hamstring injury, and it was at the Gold Coast in Australia where Frazer showed the crowd what he was capable of, and became the 2018 Commonwealth Games gold medalist.
