Anjou grew up living opposite the beach in Ngor, a suburb of Dakar, and took to surfing in 2010. Still fairly traditional, there are not many Senegalese girls who surf. Moustapha is the lifeguard at Yoff Beach, stationed directly outside Malika Surf School. Trained under the Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) and employed in England for many years. Moustapha has enjoyed being a lifeguard for 23 years. Yoff Beach, Dakar, Senegal.
